Viewing Taj Mahal at night time has been allowed since 2004. Now it is allowed to visit Taj Mahal on full moon for five nights in every month (Except the month of Ramazan or Ramadan) including the full moon night and two days before two days after the full moon. Access to Taj Mahal at full moon is restricted to 400 tourists in eight batches of 50 people for half an hour (30 minutes) visiting time for each.

Taj Mahal Night Viewing
starts from 08:30 PM to 12:30 AM, providing 30 minutes to each batch. Taj Mahal can be seen at its best under the moon night during these nights. Taj remains closed on Friday so night viewing is not allowed on Friday as well. Video camera & mobiles are not allowed during the visit.

Entrance fee for viewing Taj Mahal under moon night:
Indian (Adult) – INR . Rs.510
Foreign National – INR. Rs.750
Child above 3 years up to 15 years old : INR. Rs.500
**Entrance tickets for viewing Taj Mahal at night can be purchased a day before of the date of visit.
